Traditional Ukrainian Wedding, part 1, 30 minutes
Michael Paziuk was born in Ukraine, but has spent all of his adult life in other countries. After Ukraine was released from the grip of Soviet communism, he returned to the country he loved to make this film of a traditional village wedding.
Some people may find the slaughter of animals for the celebration distasteful, but the film reflects the attitudes and beliefs of the people involved.
The film was shot and edited on VHS, using normal domestic equipment. Titles and windows media conversion of this version was carried out by us.
